The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, was created by the United States Congress to lead a nationwide effort to remember America's fallen firefighters. Since 1992, the nonprofit foundation has developed and expanded programs to honor fallen fire heroes and assist their families and coworkers.

National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Golf
In 2004, the first Fallen Firefighters Memorial Golf Tournament was held to raise awareness and to help sustain the programs of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Now in its seventh year, the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Golf has grown to include 50 regional golf tournaments.
