In 2011, 35 official National Fallen Firefighters Foundation Regional Golf Tournaments were held in 22 states. Each of these events was organized and staffed by volunteers, and sponsored by local businesses, fire service organizations, and individuals. Through the support of all of these community partners, this program raised more than $300,000 in 2011, which will be used to provide services, scholarships, and assistance to the survivors of fire service fatalities throughout the United States.
